“I have been working with Valery for over a year and the results have been phenomenal. As a recovering CEO who formerly employed over 400 employees under a multi-million dollar enterprise, I have found myself recently stuck in a place of not knowing what to work on next.

Valery has helped me get clear in a way which I have not felt in the last 15 years. She has an ability to listen and nudge which is soft and subtle but also strong and direct. She mixes the logical with the creative all in the same session and helps me to realize that it takes both sides of our brains to be fully realized in our potential.

I look forward to continuing my work with Valery for years to come.”

“When I started my legal career as an associate at a top law firm in NYC, I thought the recipe for success was simple--if I kept my head down, worked as hard as I possibly could, and achieved good results, things would fall into place. A few years into the position, once I had the chance to take a step back and assess what I had achieved and what the future held, I had to be honest that despite my hard work, it didn't seem that things were necessarily going to just "fall into place" without me making some very conscientious decisions about my career. But I didn't know what those decisions should be because after several years grinding away in big law, I wasn't even sure what I wanted for my career, or my life in relation to that career.

Without close family members in big law and lacking mentors outside of my then-current supervisors, it seemed that I would have no choice but to make these important decisions without guidance from a knowledgeable source. And then Valery stepped in.  Through our many, many hours of conversation, Valery helped illuminate not only what I wanted out of my career, but she helped me to examine my own skill set so I could see what positions would be good fits for my career in the future. From the more "global" conversations about how to exist and thrive as a woman in big law to the more "local" conversations about how to handle a particularly difficult situation at work, Valery was an incredible resource who helped me get to the root of the problem and, more importantly, helped me to formulate a workable approach and solution. And once I found a potential job that I thought could be a good next step, Valery played an active role in preparing me for challenging interviews and building my confidence so that I could walk into those interviews knowing that I was the best person for the job.

Through working with Valery I gained confidence in myself and my skills and learned that achieving my career goals will take more than just hard work. I understand now that I need to approach my new job with intention, determination, and a real plan for success. Valery is continuing to help me formulate and refine my plan for my new job, and she has been instrumental in making sure that I'm approaching the next phase of my career thoughtfully.

Working with Valery is a pleasure. Valery is an active listener who knows the right questions to ask but also knows when to sit back and listen. Her patience and thoughtfulness are unparalleled, and her judgment is excellent. Valery's familiarity with working in high pressure corporate offices is evident, and that experience helps make her coaching particularly on point for those of us who exist in the corporate world. It's clear that not only is Valery passionate about coaching people to be their best selves, but she's also an empathetic human who cares deeply about the people she works with. In short, Valery is the person you want in your corner supporting you as you move forward in your career, whatever the next stage is.”
